It is unbelievable how your life can change in one moment, how one moment can throw your life upside down,……
This little mongrel, our “Fredje”, now “Nando”, was one out of so many dogs waiting for the horrible end, counting down the 10 days in a killing station. His little ashtray snout looks great on him but no Spanish person would ever give a dog like him a chance, he was a dumped dog , never respected or loved, maybe as a puppy for a short time before his teeth started growing and his life started to look differently,…….
He wasn’t wanted anymore,…….. He went from one garbage can to another and tried to survive,……
Until he was brought to his final station,……….. He was counting down his days,………
When we were visiting the killing station, we noticed him, he was in a corner in one of the dirty cages,……. He had been bitten by the surrounding dogs and was shaking with fear, his pretty brown eyes were looking at us with death fear and then we took him with us,…..
He was a scared little weasel who conquered our hearts with his sweet character, his, despite everything, still cheerful look at people,……
Today, “Fredje” has become the big sweet heart of An Lemmens, a well known Flemish lady and a big animal lover, he is now the small frog who became a prince and who got the golden basket of which he never dared to dream,………….
How a dime can roll, how a life can turn around,………. We are so happy for him,……… Thank you, Ann for our Nando, thank you that he can be a prince with you!!!
