A big Espiga, which means spike of corn, actually saved the life of this little sweetie... The spike of corn gave her life a new turn... She was brought in on a castration day, together with 15 other cats... When the vet saw her eye he wanted to keep her for a few days because it would be fatal for her if we would bring her back... thinking that she was a wild cat.
After the spike of corn was surgically removed, and she woke up from her anesthesia, the assistant wanted to take care of her eye and she noticed that the cat accepted this calm and quiet... She cuddled and purred out of appreciation that her eye was taken care of and she greeted everybody loudly and with so much friendship that we were not going to put her back in the colony... But now we will look for a good and responsible owner for her!
