So terrible, the Corona pandemic, all the rules and regulations to try and stop the virus. We, here in Spain, are also hit hard and we don't know where it will end. It is a true nightmare. we are in the middle of it, no matter what, we will have to get through this.
Our refugio is closed for the public, for an uncertain amount of time, to protect the visitors and our people, and of course, our animals. We need to make sure that we will keep getting their daily care. We are counting om it that nobody will blame us for this. We must stand strong together to get through this.
Pets are not a danger to people, they cannot get ill by COVID-19 and they cannot infect us. We were informed officially by the Spanish government, of the Colegio de Veterinarios. The emergency situation was called here in Spain. We are now awaiting more information what this will mean for us and our animals.
We will remain at our stations, to as ever take good care of our dogs and cats. We are hoping that we will be getting back to a normal life as fast as possible., because that already holds enough challenges for us.
We will keep you informed
Good luck to all of you, take care of yourself, your family and your pets...
Fabienne and team Spain.
